Piyush slams 112 as Monohar Pukur Milan Samity win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Piyush Tanwar scored a brilliant match-winning 112 off 105 balls as Monohar Pukur Milan Samity chased down a massive total to beat Wari by 1 wicket on the second day in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday. Batting first, Payel Mondal (104) helped Wari post 419/9. For Monohar Pukur Milan Samity, Anik Sarkar was the pick of the bowlers bagging 2 for 35. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity chased it down, scoring 420/9.
In other matches, Sk Asif Hossain scored a brilliant unbeaten 154 while Surojit Das (96) and Akhilesh Yadav (6-43) impressed as Sporting Union beat Tollygunge Agragami by 260 runs. Batting first, Sporting Union posted 365/5. For Tollygunge Agragami, Monojit Ghosh and Aditya Yadav bagged two wickets each. In reply, Tollygunge Agragami were bowled out for 105.
Rishabh Chaudhary (117, 3-102), Sudip Rakshit (102), Divesh Singh (100) and Priyanshu Gautam (5-106) helped United Club beat Netaji Subhas Institute by 246 runs. Batting first, United Club posted 548/7. For Netaji Subhas Institute, Md Shoeb Khan bagged 3 wickets. In reply, despite a fine 92 by Dipanjan Mukherjee, Netaji Subhas Institute were bundled out for 302.
Anshuman Pandey (6-57) and Dipak Kr Ghosh (4-52) helped Bhukailash Sporting Club beat YMCA (Coll Br) by 6 wickets. Bhukailash Sporting Club bundled out YMCA (Coll Br) for 168. In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club chased it down scoring 171/4.
