Pabitra (121), Dipak (115) guide Bengal Sporting
Club to victory in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Pabitra Seth (121) and Dipak Ghosh (115) smashed match-winning centuries each as Bengal Sporting Club beat Suburban Club by 6 wickets on the second day in the CAB Second Division league-cum-knockout tournament on Saturday. Batting first, Souradeep Ghosh (92) helped Suburban Club post 357/9 at stumps. For Bengal Sporting Club, Vaivhab Lahiri bagged an impressive 6 for 56. In reply, Bengal Sporting Club chased it down scoring 359/4.
In other matches, Sachin Dubey smashed a brilliant 233 while Salman Khan (83) and Ritesh Yadav (5-128) also impressed as Burnpur Cricket Club beat Mouri Sporting Club by 103 runs. Batting first, Burnpur Cricket Club posted a massive 414. For Mouri Sporting Club, Harsh Kumar Ray and Arbaaz Mansoori bagged three wickets each. In reply, despite fine centuries by Arghya Ghosh (110) and Kamalesh Adak (104), Mouri Sporting Club posted only 311/9.
Sudip Talukder (107) and Aamir Hussain (107) scored superb centuries each while Aamir Hussain (5-91) was superb with the ball as Victoria Sporting Club beat Calcutta Cricket Club by 103 runs. Batting first, Victoria Sporting Club posted 385. Calcutta Cricket Club's Santanu Das bagged an impressive 7 for 111. In reply, Calcutta Cricket Club were bowled out for 282.
Vivek Prasad Mahato (93), Rupam (77) and Suman Sethi (4-80) helped Baranagar Sporting Club beat Alipore Sporting Club by 62 runs. Batting first, Baranagar Sporting Club posted 380. For Alipore Sporting Club, Sourav Dutta Jr bagged 4 for 106. In reply, Alipore Sporting Club were bowled out for 318. Satyendra Yadav scored a fine 79.
Tripto Sur (94), Dravid Dev Mandal (88), Dibyendu Roy (4-66) and Mahi Molla (4-80) helped City A.C beat Central Calcutta Sporting by 126 runs. Batting first, City A.C posted 346. For Central Calcutta Sporting, Asif Mondal bagged 4 for 91. In reply, Central Calcutta Sporting were bundled out for 220.
Vijay Sports Club beat YMCA (Chow) by 3 wickets. Batting first YMCA (Chow) posted 263, thanks to Kaushik Deb (59). For Vijay Sports Club, Arijit Mukherjee bagged 3 for 78. In reply, Vijay Sports Club chased it down scoring 267/7. Aritra Guhathakurta top-scored with 63 runs.
