Sk Ajharudin bags 7 as Rajasthan Club win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Sk Ajharudin (7-79) was superb with the ball as Rajasthan Club beat Shambazar Club by 11 runs on Day 2 in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Friday. Batting first, Rajasthan Club managed to post 234/9, thanks to Prateek (32). For Shambazar Club, Abhijit Mal (4-57) and Ashish Suhag (3-87) impressed with the ball. In reply, Shambazar Club were bowled out for 223.
In other matches, Parvej Alam (5-29) was brilliant with the ball while Rahul Gupta (146) and Shuvam Dey (120) smashed superb centuries each as Kidderpore Sporting Club beat Calcutta Port Trust by 267 runs. Batting first, Kidderpore Sporting posted 450/7 at stumps. For Calcutta Port Trust, Subhrangshu Ghosh bagged 4 for 79. In reply, Calcutta Port Trust were bundled out for 183.
Satyajeet Sabat smashed a superb 203 while Dewendra Kr Singh (4-22) was impressive with the ball as Dakshin Kolkata Sansad beat Dalhousie A.C by 187 runs. Batting first, Dakshin Kolkata Sansad posted 334/8. For Dalhousie A.C, Ashish Yadav bagged 4 for 87. In reply, Dalhousie A.C were bowled out for 147.
Leading from the front, Rahul Dagar scored a brilliant 185 off 176 balls while Vishal Shaw (4-34) and Rohit Dua (4-51) were impressive with the ball as Aikya Sammilani beat Kumartuli Institute by 281 runs. Batting first, Aikya Sammilani posted 420/9 at stumps. For Kumartuli Institute, Vikash Meena bagged 3 for 143. In reply, Kumartuli Institute were bundled out for 139.
Krishnayan Chatterjee scored a fine 162 along with Sourav Chakraborty (94) while Kaif Abbas (5-52) and Ashish Pandey (3-30) also impressed as Kolkata Union Sporting Club beat Shibpur Institute by 201 runs. Batting first, Kolkata Union Sporting Club posted 351/9. For Shibpur Institute, Amit Kr Dey bagged 4 for 92 while Lokesh claimed 3 for 102. In reply, Shibpur Institute were bundled out for 150.
