Amit Roy smashed a superb unbeaten 193 as Mohun Lal Club posted 401/7 on Day 1 in the CAB Second Division league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday. For Gymkhana, Priyam Chatterjee bagged 4 for 109. In reply, Gymkhana were 15 for no loss at stumps
In other matches, Irshad Alam (7-81) was brilliant with the ball as Taltala Ekata Sangha bundled out Aurora Athletic Association for 223. In reply, Taltala Ekata Sangha were 89/2 at stumps.
Rajbinder Singh Gill smashed a superb 165 off 97 balls as Satya Sandhi posted 345. For Abasar, Shanu Qureshi bagged 3 for 88. In reply, Abasar were 104/4 at stumps.
Suprojit Purkait's brilliant 148 off 201 balls helped WB Association of the Deaf post 418/9. For Friends Sporting Union, Jai Kishor Yadav bagged 4 for 136. In reply, Friends Sporting Union were 17/1 at stumps.
Manish Singh Rawat scored a fine 124 as Taltala Institute posted 298. For South Suburban Club, Venkatesh Reddy bagged 5 for 94. In reply, South Suburban Club were 13 for no loss at stumps.
Dipanshu Upadhyay (112) helped Friends Athletic Club post 296. For Calcutta University Institute, Ariyan Gowala bagged 5 for 71. In reply, Calcutta University Institute were 36/2 at stumps.
