Anup hits 156 for Netaji Subhas Institute in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Anup Samaddar scored a brilliant 156 along with Dipanjan Mukherjee (86) as Netaji Subhas Institute posted 358 at stumps on Day 1 in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday. For Ballygunge United Club, Sandeep Yadav bagged 5 for 102.
In other matches, riding on an outstanding bowling effort by Debargha Saha (7-93), Monohar Pukur Milan Samity bowled out Bhukailash Sporting Club for 225. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity were 16/1 at stumps.
Purab Jain (127) and Sachin Singh (120) slammed centuries each as United Club posted 434/9 at stumps. For Police A.C, Anish Prasad bagged 4 for 117.
Noman Manzoor (5-85) and Yudhajit Guha (3-52) were impressive with the ball as Calcutta Police Club bowled out YMCA (Coll Br) for 215. In reply, Calcutta Police Club were 92/3 at stumps. Srijit Ghosal top-scored with 33.
Hertinder Singh Gill (3-36) and Saumya Pakray (3-83) were superb with the ball as Tollygunge Agragami bundled out Wari for just 176. In reply, Tollygunge Agragami were 122/3 at stumps.
Soumya Basak (74) and Pritam Ghosh (52) helped Indian Boys Athletic Club post 249. Akhilesh Yadav bagged 5 for 90. In reply, Ankush Sur scored a fine 121 as Sporting Union reached 159/1 at stumps.
