Shakir Habib slams unbeaten 182 for Town Club in First Division League

Shakir Habib Gandhi smashed a superb unbeaten 182 while Sandeep Tomar (72) also impressed as Town Club managed to reach 370/5 in their first innings at stumps on Day 1 in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Monday. For Mohammedan Sporting Club, Nitin Verma bagged 3 for 64.
In the second match, Amitoze Singh scored a brilliant unbeaten 139 along with Ayan Bhattacharya (76 not out) as East Bengal Club managed to reach 273/6 in their first innings at stumps. For Paikpara Sporting Club, Viswajeet Mishra and Shivang Chatterjee bagged two wickets each.
In the third match, riding on a superb 133 by Shantanu, Tapan Memorial Club posted 337/8 in their first innings at stumps. Diganta Neogi (63) and Ankush Tyagi (59) also impressed. For Calcutta Custom Club, Dilshad Khan bagged 3 for 103.
In the fourth match, Suvankar Bal scored a fine 116 along with S Yadav (106 not out) and Sudip Kumar Gharami (92) as Mohun Bagan Club managed to post 403/5 in their first innings at stumps. For BNR Recreation Club, Arghya Sengupta bagged 2 for 88.
In the fifth match, Arindam Das (54) and Jesal Karia (47 not out) helped Bhawanipore Club reach 194/7 in their first innings at stumps. For Kalighat Club, B Amit (4-48) was impressive with the ball.
