Sudip's all-round show helps South Suburban Club win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Sudip Roy (84, 6-120) displayed an all-round performance to help South Suburban Club beat Balak Sangha by 10 runs in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Wednesday. Batting first, Sudip helped South Suburban Club post 255. Kaushtav Ghosh bagged 4 for 4y. In reply, depsite a fine 116 by Souvik Chatterjee, Balak Sangha were bowled out for 245.
In other matches, Dipayan Biswas scored a match-winning 107 as Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute beat Howrah Union by 7 wickets. Batting first, Sudip Halder (123) helped Howrah Union post 250. Partha Kundu bagged 4 for 54. In reply, Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute chased it down scoring 251/3.
Dipankar Paik scored a brilliant 235 off 216 balls along with Sachin Yadav (120) as Amature CC beat Cossipore Club by 371 runs. Batting first, Amature CC posted a mammoth 525. Rajib Chakraborty bagged 4 for 149. In reply, Cossipore Club were bundled out for 154. Sachin and Abishek Singh bagged three wickets each.
Krishnendu Guha (4-60) and Ajit Kumar Rajak (3-27) helped Taltala Institute beat George Telegraph by 44 runs. Arun Mallick (5-54) was impressive with the ball as George Telegraph bundled out Taltala Institute for 176. Dipak Shaw top-scored with 61. In reply, George Telegraph were bowled out for 132.
Subham Kumar Prasad (126), Binay Jaiswal (74), Swapnil Jaiswal (74) and Mehroz Raza (4-124) helped Bata Sporting Club beat Bani Niketan Sporting Club by 79 runs. Batting first, Bata Sporting Club posted 378/9 at stumps. For Bani Niketan Sporting Club, Aditya Dutta bagged 3 for 133. In reply, Bani Niketan Sports Club were bowled out for 299.

National Athletic Club beat Albert Sporting Club by 138 runs. Arindam Adhikari (71 not out) and Karan Singh Siddhu (61) helped National Athletic Club post 311. For Albert Sporting Club, Showmajit Khaskel bagged 5 for 91. In reply, Albert Sporting Club were bowled out for 173. Ramit Ghosh bagged three wickets while Subhadip Bhattacharjee took 2.
Sahil Roy and Tujan Maurd bagged four wickets each as Mohun Lal Club beat Excelsiors Club by 173 runs. Sk Sahil Murad Hossain (84) and Aditya Ghosal (62) helped Mohun Lal Club post 286. Nabojyoti Basu bagged 4 for 75. In reply, Excelsiors Club were bowled out for 113.
