Writtick (160), Satyaki (136) power East Bengal
to 340/5 on Day 1 in First Division League

Writtick Chatterjee smashed a brilliant 160 along with Satyaki Dutta (136) as East Bengal Club managed to reach a commendable total of 340/5 in their first innings at stumps on Day 1 in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Wednesday.
For BNR Recreation Club, Rahul Basfore bagged 3 for 63 while Arghya Sengupta and Narayan Rana claimed one each.
In the second match, Sumanta Gupta scored a fine 103 while Agniv Pan (66) and Lakshya Kochar (49) also made useful contributions as Barisha Sporting Club posted 312 in their first innings.
For Mohun Bagan Club, Akash Pandey bagged 4 for 78 while Arnab Nandi claimed 2 for 46.
In reply, Mohun Bagan were 18 for no loss at stumps.
The other three matches were called off for the day due to heavy overnight rain.
