Dipankar hits 235 for Amature CC in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Dipankar Paik scored a brilliant 235 off 216 balls along with Sachin Yadav (120) as Amature CC posted a mammoth 525 on Day 1 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday. Rajib Chakraborty bagged 4 for 149. In reply, Cossipore Club were 1 for no loss at stumps.
In other matches, Shashi Shankar Singh (7-56) was superb with the ball as Gymkhana beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 21 runs. Muzammil Raja Rahman bagged 5 for 29.
Arun Mallick (5-54) helped George Telegraph bundle out Taltala Institute for 176. Dipak Shaw top-scored with 61. In reply, George Telegraph were 62/4 at stumps.
Subham Kumar Prasad (126), Binay Jaiswal (74) and Swapnil Jaiswal (74) helped Bata Sporting Club post 378/9 at stumps. For Bani Niketan Sporting Club, Aditya Dutta bagged 3 for 133.
Sudip Halder (123) helped Howrah Union post 250. Partha Kundu bagged 4 for 54. In reply, Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute were 30 for no loss at stumps.
Rajat Nag (107 not out) and Koushik Guha (64) helped Cricket Club of Bhawanipore post 335/9 at stumps. For Behala Friends Union, Labib Khan bagged 4 for 115.
Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association were bowled out for 176. Irshad Alam (4-52), Ashish Yadav (3-47) was impressive with the ball. In reply, Taltala Ekata Sangha were struggling at 98/8 at stumps. Rohit bagged 3 for 43.
Arindam Adhikari (71 not out) and Karan Singh Siddhu (61) helped National Athletic Club post 311. For Albert Sporting Club, Showmajit Khaskel bagged 4 for 91.
Sudip Roy (84) helped South Suburban Club post 255. Kaushtav Ghosh bagged 4 for 4y. In reply, Balak Sangha were 50 for 1 at stumps.
