Amit (146), Ayan (130) impress for Calcutta Cricket
Club in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Amit Biswas (146) and Ayan Nandi (130 not out) smashed centuries each as Calcutta Cricket Club posted 428/6 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Saturday. Neelotpal Bauri bagged 3 for 71. In reply, Abasar were 34/1 at stumps on Day 1.
In other matches, Nimesh Rajak (7-69) was brilliant with the ball as WB Association of the Deaf bundled out Satya Sandhi for 250. Abhideep Ghosh (52) top-scored for the side. In reply, WB Association of the Deaf were 122/1 at stumps, thanks to Vikas Kumar (61) and Suprojit Purkait (51).
Meetul Sah bagged 6 for 96 as Sarat Samity bowled out Bata Sporting Club for 234. Ankit Singh (104) was impressive with the bat. In reply, Sarat Samity were 60/1 at stumps.
Piyush scored a fine 118 along with Anirban Chakraborty (98) while Dipanshu Upadhyay bagged 6 for 107 as Friends Athletic Club beat Friends Sporting Union by 15 runs. Friends Athletic Club posted 313/8. Jai Kisore Yadav and Saswata Das bagged two wickets each. In reply, Friends Sporting Union were bundled out for 298.
Animesh Adhikari (5-24) and Partha Kundu (5-34) were superb with the ball as Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute beat Cossipore Club by 99 runs. Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute were bowled out for 161. Rohit Chowdhury, Rahul Ghosh and Kaushtabh Das bagged two wickets each. In reply, Cossipore Club were bundled out for just 62.
Niranjan Raut (60), Gourav Pandey (4-29) and Hrishav Sil (4-61) helped Burnpur Cricket Club beat Calcutta University Institute by 1 wicket.
Hasan Raza (5-54) and Mohan Kumar Ram (73) helped Howrah Union beat Bani Niketan Sporting Club by 10 wickets.
Sk Javed (95), Tarun Verma (92) helped Sahapur Sporting Club post 390. Harsh Kumar Ray bagged 4 for 119 for Mouri Sporting Club.
Sayantal Paul (97) helped Bantra Cricket Club post 288. Sharvil Pandit bagged 4 for 78. In reply, Amature CC were 11 for no loss at stumps.
Kazi Md Safin (76) helped White Border Club post 283. Abhishek Tehlani was the pick of the bowlers bagging 2 for 33 in reply, Calcutta Rangers Club were 17/2.
