Aamir slams 157 for Bhawanipore Club in CAB First Division League

Aamir Gani smashed a superb 157 along with Ritwik Roy Chowdhury (76) and Sandipan Das (69) as Bhawanipore Club managed to post 580/6 in their first innings in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Thursday. In reply, Tapan Memorial Club were 76/2 at stumps on Day 2.
In the second match, Souvick Ghosh (5-29) was impressive as Calcutta Custom Club bundled out BNR Recreation Club for 156 in their first innings. In reply, Calcutta Custom Club were 267/9 at stumps. Samik Karmakar scored a fine 80. For BNR, Rahul Basfore bagged 5 for 65.
In the third match, Surojit Jadav (109) helped East Bengal Club post 282 in their first innings. For Barisha Sporting Club, Sandipan and Ankit Mishra bagged three wickets each. In reply, Barisha Sporting were 162/3 at stumps. Sumanta Gupta scored remained unbeaten on 60.
In the fourth match, Sujit Kumar Yadav (84), Prashant Maurya (68) and Akash Sarkar (61) helped Town Club post 320 in their first innings after bowling out Kalighat for 189. B Amit bagged 5 for 58. Kalighat, in their second innings, were 8 for no loss at stumps.
In the fifth match, Mohammedan Sporting Club were 38/4 at stumps against Paikpara Sporting Club.
