Harsh bags 7 as Kumartuli Institute win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Harsh Dev Gautam (7-46) was superb with the ball as Kumartuli Institute beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 63 runs on Day 2 in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Wednesday.
Samitinjoy Bhattacharyya (78) helped Kumartuli Institute post 252. Abhishek Pandey was the pick of the bowlers bagging 4 for 70. In reply, Kolkata Union Sporting Club were bundled out for 189.
In other matches, Anuj Jotin scored a brilliant 130 along with Gaurav Jathar (84) and Avijit Mondal (81) as Aryan Club beat Belgachia United Club by 43 runs. Aryan Club managed to post a massive 400/4 on Day 1. Mohd Asif Mansoori and Suraj Dhouni bagged two wickets each. In reply, despite fine knocks by Mehfuz Jolly (113) and Snehashish Saha (91), Belgachia United Club fell short, scoring 357/7.
Raju Halder (5-50) and Saikat Das (3-57) helped E.RLY.Sports Association beat Shibpur Institute by 151 runs. Lokesh (7-104) was superb with the ball as Shibpur Institute bowled out E.RLY.Sports Association for 279. Saikat Das (67) and Pankaj Shaw (58) impressed with the bat. In reply, Shibpur Institute were bundled out for 128.
Vishal Kr Roy (6-63), Sk Ajharudin (4-47), Harsimar Singh Patheja (92) and Akshay Saini (79) helped Rajasthan Club beat Aikya Sammilani by 167 runs. Rajasthan Club posted 282. Rohit Dua bagged 4 for 92. In reply, Aikya Sammilani were bundled out for 115.
Ahaan Poddar (77) and Rahul Gupta (55) helped Kidderpore Sporting Club beat Dakshin Kolkata Sansad by 1 wicket. Abhishek Chowdhury (86), Sourav K Gouda (67) and Satyajeet Sabat (58) helped Dakshin Kolkata Sansad post 325. Saksham Sharma was the pick of the bowlers bagging 4 for 55. In reply, Kidderpore Sporting Club chased it down scoring 329/9. Sushil Kumar Barik bagged 4 for 98.
Kr Aditya (68), Arijit Goswami (56) helped Calcutta Port Trust beat Shambazar Club by 4 wickets. Ankit Chatterjee (51) helped Shambazar Club post 253. Deepak Punia and Pratik Rajan bagged four wickets each. In reply, Calcutta Port Trust chased it down scoring 258/6.
