Akshu slams 253 for Sarat Samity in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Akshu Giri smashed a superb 253 off 226 balls along with Rajesh Mondal (150) as Sarat Samity managed to post a massive 587/8 at stumps on Day 1 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday. Ajey Prakash was the pick of the bowlers for Cossipore Club bagging 3 for 45.
In other matches, Sudip Halder scored a brilliant unbeaten 200 off 221 balls as Howrah Union posted 368. For Bata Sporting Club, Ansh Poddar was the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 for 74. In reply, Bata Sporting Club were 48/1 at stumps.
Sachin Dubey (134), Harsh Sharma (110) Aryan Hela (107) and Salman Khan (101) helped Burnpur Cricket Club post 560 at stumps. For Satya Sandhi, Apratim Karmakar was the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 for 58.
Md Imtiaz Al (159) and Rahul Yadav (103) helped Victoria Sporting Club post 368/8 at stumps. For WB Association of the Deaf, Ashish Prasad was the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 for 74.
Nitya Nanda Maji (122) helped West Bengal Police Sports Club post 283. Manav Binakiya bagged 6 for 94. In reply, Ariadaha Sporting Club were 22/5 at stumps.
Rajveer Roy (90) and Subham Goswami (75) helped White Border Club post 355/7. Animesh Adhikari bagged 4 for 168. In reply, Narkeldanga Sir Gurudas Institute were 44/1 at stumps.
Dipankar Paik (65) helped Amature CC post 230. Papai Barai was the pick of the bowlers bagging 4 for 65. In reply, Calcutta Rangers Club were 68/2 at stumps.
Friends Sporting Union were bundled out for 151. Sumit Pandit and Abimanyu Singh bagged four wickets each. In reply, Sahapur Sporting Club were 56/3 at stumps.
