Rohit bags 5 to put Bengal U-23 team on top against Bihar in Col C K Nayudu Trophy

Rohit Kumar (5-49) was superb with the ball as Bengal Under-23 team bundled out Bihar for just 180 in their first innings to grab a big lead in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy at the BCA Ground, Kalyani, on Monday.
At stumps on Day 2, Bengal in their second innings were 31/1, with a healthy lead of 112 runs.
Earlier, skipper Prayas Ray Barman (61), Arin Roy (54) and Sahitya Hazra (51) were impressive with the bat as the home side managed to post 261 in their first innings.
For Bihar, A Raj was the pick of the bowlers bagging 6 for 65.
In reply, Bihar lost wickets at regular intervals and were bowled out in just 51.3 overs, thus handing a big lead to Bengal.
Besides Rohit, Vaibhav Yadav (2-17), Debopratim Halder (2-44) and Prayas (1-28) were excellent with the ball.
