Association win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Vishal Bhati (164) and Varun Agarwal (110) slammed superb centuries each as Salkia Friends Association beat City A.C by 6 wickets on Day 2 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Sunday.
Tanishq Goswami scored a fine 168 along with Pritish Ghosh (91) as City A.C managed to post 399/6. Debangshu Pakhira was the pick of the bowlers for Salkia Friends Association bagging 2 for 66. In reply, Salkia Friends Association chased it down scoring 400/6.
In other matches, Kingkar Roy (114), Atandra Das (80) and Manish Kumar (5-67) helped Greer Sporting Club beat Star Sporting Club by 180 runs. Greer Sporting Club posted 423. For Star Sporting Club, Raman Singh was the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 for 72. In reply, Star Sporting Club were bowled out for 243.
Aritra Chakraborty (7-85) was superb with the ball while Monu Mallick scored a fine 62 as Bengal Sporting Club beat Vijay Sports Club by 3 wickets. Bengal Sporting Club bowled out Vijay Sports Club for 200. Shantadeep Pal scored a fighting 97. In reply, Bengal Sporting Club chased it down scoring 201/7.
Kushal Gupta (5-64) and Pritish Mohanty (73) helped Measurers Club beat Balak Sangha by 5 wickets. Measurers Club bowled out Balak Sangha for 190. In reply, Measurers Club chased it down scoring 192/5.
Md Moinuddin Hussain (97), Sachin Sharma (85), Sk Imanul Alam (5-103) and Baidurya Dey (4-115) helped Howrah Sporting Club beat Alipore Sporting Club by 90 runs. Howrah Sporting Club post 375/7. For Alipore Sporting Club, Pritam Marjit was the pick of the bowlers bagging 2 for 61. In reply, despite a fine 99 by Pritam, Alipore Sporting Club were bowled out for 285.
Abasar beat WB Association of the Deaf by 4 wickets. Abhijit Sikdar (72) helped WB Association of the Deaf post 207. For Abasar, Ankit Burnwal and Shanu Qureshi bagged four wickets each. In reply, Abasar chased it down scoring 208/6. Shanu top-scored with 42.
