Bengal Under-23 team managed to reach 228/7 at stumps on Day 1 against Bihar in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy at the BCA Ground, Kalyani, on Tuesday.
Skipper Prayas Ray Barman (61) and Sahitya Hazra (51) were impressive with the bat.
At stumps on the opening day, Arin Roy (54 batting) and Vaibhav Yadav (17 batting) were at the crease.
For Bihar, A Raj was the pick of the bowlers bagging 5 for 59.
