Tanishq hits 168 for City A.C in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Tanishq Goswami scored a fine 168 along with Pritish Ghosh (91) as City A.C managed to post 399/6 on Day 1 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Saturday. Debangshu Pakhira was the pick of the bowlers for Salkia Friends Association bagging 2 for 66. In reply, Salkia Friends Association were 28/1 at stumps.
In other matches, Kingkar Roy (114) and Atandra Das (80) helped Greer Sporting Club post 423 at stumps. For Star Sporting Club, Raman Singh was the pick of the bowlers bagging 3 for 72.
Aritra Chakraborty (7-85) was superb with the ball as Bengal Sporting Club bowled out Vijay Sports Club for 200. Shantadeep Pal scored a fighting 97. In reply, Bengal Sporting Club were 31/1 at stumps.
Kushal Gupta (5-64) helped Measurers Club bowl out Balak Sangha for 190. In reply, Measurers Club were 70/4 at stumps.
Md Moinuddin Hussain (97) and Sachin Sharma (85) helped Howrah Sporting Club post 375/7 at stumps. For Alipore Sporting Club, Pritam Marjit was the pick of the bowlers bagging 2 for 61.
Abhijit Sikdar (72) helped WB Association of the Deaf post 207. For Abasar, Ankit Burnwal and Shanu Qureshi bagged four wickets each. In reply, Abasar were 74/3 at stumps.
Ketan Patel (84), Prithibi Mandi (4-50) and Niloy Saha (3-44) helped Suburban Club beat Ballygunge Sporting Association by 7 wickets.
Srirup Dutta (90) and Pushpendra Gupta (6-20) helped International Club beat Calcutta Parsse Club by 9 wickets.
Sk Siddik (6-45), Ritam Roy (4-21) and Victor Upadhyay (56) helped Jorabagan Club beat Central Calcutta Sporting by 8 wickets.
Bhagirath Rajwar (4-33) and Sourav Dawn (4-86) helped Burnpur Cricket Club beat Calcutta Cricket Club by 15 runs.
