Debojyoti Ghosh (123), Subham Singh (106) and Akash Verma (85 not out) helped Ballygunge United Club post 459/5 at stumps on Day 1 in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day match on Saturday. For Monohar Pukur Milan Samity, Rahul Thakur bagged 3 for 173.
In other matches, Ashutosh Kumar (55, 4-42) and Subhradip Dhara (3-40) helped Wari beat Bhukailash Sporting Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Bhukailash Sporting Club were bowled out for 143. In reply, Wari chased it down scoring 145/4.
Ankur Sur (102), Gaurav Mondal (89) and Atanu Ghosh (70) helped Sporting Union post 358/7 at stumps. For Calcutta Police Club, Sayan Dey bagged 4 for 58.
Purab Jain (62) helped United Club post 265. Saumya Pakray bagged 4 for 85. In reply, Tollygunge Agragami were 47/1 at stumps.
Amritendu Ghosh (87) and Devendra Singh (86) helped Netaji Subhas Institute post 304/9 at stumps. For Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club, Md Saif bagged 5 for 53.
Amit Singh (75 not out), Punit Yadav (75) and Soumya Basak (69) helped Indian Boys Athletic Club post 427/8 at stumps. For Police A.C, Wahid Mahfooz was the pick of the bowlers bagging 2 for 40.
