Biraj slams 115 as Taltala Institute win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Biraj Malo smashed a match-winning 115 off 107 balls along with Rahul Majumder (81) as Taltala Institute beat Measurers Club by 2 wickets on Day 2 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Wednesday.
Siddharth Ghosh (108) helped Measurers Club post 304. Ankush Ghatak bagged 4 for 44. In reply, Taltala Institute chased it down scoring 305/8.
In other matches, Koustav Kumar Dhar scored a brilliant 143 along with Rabi Rajak (97) as Aurora Athletic Association beat Cricket Club of Dhakuria by 305 runs. Aurora Athletic Association posted 522/8. Muzammil Raja Rahman and Akhilesh Yadav bagged three wickets each. In reply, Cricket Club of Dhakuria were bundled out for 217. Ronit Mitra and Biplab Adhikary bagged three wickets each.
Krish Dutta (118) and Subhankar Bhattacharjee (5-63) helped National Athletic Club beat George Telegraph by 113 runs. National Athletic Club posted 350/9. Bhupinder Singh bagged 5 for 113. In reply, George Telegraph were bundled out for 237.
Shivam Singh scored a fine 99 while Ranveer Singh bagged 4 for 89 as High Court Club beat Albert Sporting Club by 1 wicket. Md Azeem Bargujar (98) helped Albert Sporting Club post 297. In reply, High Court Club chased it down scoring 299/9. Showmajit Khaskel bagged 5 for 89.
Irshad Alam (4-78 & 67) and Akshit Pandey (4-95) helped Taltala Ekata Sangha beat Cricket Club of Bhawanipore by 1 wicket. Ritam Sarkar (62) helped Cricket Club of Bhawanipore post 238. In reply, Taltala Ekata Sangha chased it down scoring 239/9.
Rohitaswa Manna (71), Rohit (6-88) and Pranshuu Vishal (4-81) helped Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association beat Mohun Lal Club by 89 runs. Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association posted 266. Shubham Bagchi bagged 3 for 21. In reply, Mohun Lal Club were bundled out for 177.
Anup Kumar Barick (83) and Monomit Mitra (64 & 6-104) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat South Suburban Club by 78 runs. Uttarpalli Milan Sangha posted 327. Sudip Roy bagged 5 for 91. In reply, South Suburban Club were bowled out for 249.
