Syed slams 135 as Ballygunge Sporting Association win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Syed Moinuddin scored a superb match-winning 135 while Amjad Ali bagged 5 for 59 as Ballygunge Sporting Association beat Star Sporting Club by 1 wicket on Day 2 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Sunday. Krishanu Bhattacharjee (107) impressed with the bat. Raman Singh bagged four wickets.
In other matches, Nitya Nanda Maji scored a fine 106 while Biswajit Dey bagged 6 for 52 as West Bengal Police Sports Club beat Greer Sporting Club by 96 runs. Govind Rai bagged 9 for 83.
Samadrito Biswas scored a fine 81 while Md Nasir bagged 5 for 91 as Baranagar Sporting Club beat Salkia Friends Association by 2 wickets. Abhay Kumar (102), Mayank Raj (56) and Vishal Bhati (6-108) impressed for Salkia Friends Association.
Liam Clayton Bain scored a fine 83 while Papai Barai bagged 5 for 59 as Calcutta Rangers Club beat Howrah Union by 3 wickets.
Sukriti Jana (96) and Sk Imanul Alam (6-59) helped Howrah Sporting Club beat Central Calcutta Sporting Club by 87 runs. Ankit Mondal scored 94.
Ankurdip Biswas (4-36), Aneef Islam (3-27) and Arghya Rakshit (59) helped Bengal Sporting Club beat Ariadaha Sporting Club by 7 wickets.
Pushpendra Gupta (4-67), Dipam Ghosh (3-51) and Ajoy Garai (86) helped International Club beat Jorabagan Club by 6 wickets.
Supratim Saha (5-53) helped Bantra Cricket Club beat Sarat Samity by 6 wickets.
Joydeb Nath (112), Prashant Yadav (4-36) and Ankesh Kumar Roy (4-62) helped Calcutta Parsse Club beat City A.C by 5 wickets.
