Abhijit bags 3, hits 91 as Shambazar Club win
win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Abhijit Mal bagged 3 for 10 followed by a match-winning 91 as Shambazar Club defeated Kumartuli Institute by 9 wickets in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day match on Thursday. Batting first, Kumartuli Institute were bundled out for 175. In reply, Shambazar Club chased it down, scoring 176/1.
In other matches, Sumit Mathur (122), Akshay Saini (87) helped Rajasthan Club beat Kidderpore Sporting Club by 14 runs. Batting first, Rajasthan Club posted 369/8. Saksham Sharma and Arun Kumar Chaurasiya bagged three wickets each. In reply, Kidderpore Sporting Club fell short and were bowled out for 355. Rohan Rathi (60) and Badal Singh Balyan (59) impressed with the bat. Md Naseeb Alam took 3 for 63 while Sk Ajharudin bagged 3 for 113.
Pratik Ranjan (5-41) and Deepak Kr Mahato (67) helped Calcutta Port Trust beat Dalhousie A.C by 5 wickets. Dalhousie Club were bowled out for 178. Ajmer Singh scored a fine 70. In reply, Calcutta Port Trust chased it down, scoring 181/5. Ashish Yadav bagged 4 for 41.
Soutrik Das (5-38) helped Kolkata Union Sporting Club beat Belgachia United by 7 wickets. Belgachia United Club were bundled out for 145. B Arun scored 50. In reply, Kolkata Union Sporting Club chased it down, scoring 148/3, thanks to Jayjeet Jaiswal (51).
