Purab slams unbeaten 206 for Calcutta Cricket

Purab Joshi smashed a superb unbeaten 206 along with Ayan Nandi (84) as Calcutta Cricket Club posted 433/5 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Tuesday. Sayan Parui bagged 3 for 119. In reply, Mouri Sporting Club were 15 for no loss at stumps on Day 1.
In other matches, Sk Imanul Alam (7-62) helped Howrah Sporting Club bundle out International Club for 250. Ajoy Garai scored a fine 65. In reply, Howrah Sporting Club were 30 for no loss.
Sourav Dutta Jr (5-39) and Ankit Singh (40, 4-25) helped Alipore Sporting Club beat Central Calcutta Sporting by 8 wickets.
Rohit Sen (6-41) helped Ballygunge Sporting Association beat West Bengal Police Sports Club by 4 wickets.
Abhimanyu Singh (4-17) helped Sahapur Sporting Club beat Victoria Sporting Club by 36 runs. Aamir Hussain bagged 4 for 19.
Uttkarsh Keshari (95) and Madhav (82) helped Star Sporting Club post 319. Kaushik Deb bagged 5 for 68. In reply, YMCA (Chow) were 3/1 at stumps.
Rohit Kumar (5-38) helped Vijay Sports Club bowl out Ariadaha Sporting Club for 149. In reply, Vijay Sports Club were 71/5 at stumps.
Manish Kumar (4-75) and Govind Rai (4-88) helped Greer Sporting Club bowl out Bengal Sporting Club for 244. Pabitra Seth top-scored with 42 runs. In reply, Greer Sporting Club were 126/3 at stumps.
Md Nasir (5-63) helped Baranagar Sporting Club bowl out Calcutta Parsse Club for 233. Joydeb Nath top-scored with 56 runs. In reply, Baranagar Sporting Club were 81/2 at stumps.
