Suraj bags 4 as Barisha Sporting bowl out Bhawanipore
for 97 on Day 2 in First Division League

Suraj Singh (4-37) and Poonish Mehta (2-30) were superb with the ball as Barisha Sporting Club bundled out Bhawanipore Club for just 97 in their first innings at stumps on Day 2 in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Tuesday.
Earlier, Sumanta Gupta top-scored with a fighting 71 as Barisha Sporting posted 183 in their first innings. Subham Sarkar (4-29) and Ravi Kumar (3-61) were impressive with the ball for Bhawanipore.
In the second match, Shreyan Chakraborty (4-24) and Sumit Mohanta (3-38) helped East Bengal Club bundle out Calcutta Custom Club for just 181 in their first innings. Souvick Ghosh top-scored with 49 runs.
In the third match, Kalighat Club reduced BNR Recreation Club for 190/7 in their first innings at stumps on Day 1. Avinash Kumar scored a fine 75. B Amit bagged 3 for 65.
In the fourth match, Vikas (4-37) and Prashant Chaudhary (2-31) were superb with the ball as Mohammedan Sporting Club bowled out Mohun Bagan Club for 226 in their first innings at stumps. Avilin Ghosh (77) and S Yadav (56) impressed with the bat.
In the fifth match, Paikpara Sporting Club managed to reach 183/4 in their first innings at stumps. Amit Santra (64) and Dibya Majumder (52) impressed with the bat. For, Town Club, Geet Puri bagged 3 for 49.
