Subhrajyoti slams 109 as Burnpur Cricket Club
win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Subhrajyoti Mishra scored a fine 109 off 87 balls while Sourav Dawn bagged 4 for 68 as Burnpur Cricket Club beat Abasar by 8 wickets on Day 2 in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Saturday. Ankit Burnwal (71) helped Abasar post 234. In reply, Burnpur Cricket Club chased it down scoring 235/2.
In other matches, Dipanshu Upadhyay smashed a brilliant 296 off 204 balls followed by bagging 3 for 60 along with Ritabrata Mandal (3-7) as Friends Athletic Club defeated WB Association of the Deaf by 203 runs. Friends Athletic Club posted a mammoth 501/9 on Day 1. In reply, WB Association of the Deaf were bundled out for 298.
Amit Banerjee (7-101) was superb with the ball as Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat Taltala Institute by 37 runs. Abhishek Mitra (70) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha post 239. Krishnendu Guha bagged 4 for 88. In reply, Taltala Institute were bundled out for 202.
Abhijit Sen (93) and Soubhagya Sundar Pakreh (5-45) helped Balak Sangha beat National Athletic Club by 96 runs. Balak Sangha posted 251. Subhadip Bhattacharjee bagged 4 for 71. In reply, National Athletic Club were bowled out for 155.
Ranjan Saha (5-91) was brilliant with the ball as Cricket Club of Bhawanipore beat Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association by 81 runs. Koushik Guha (91) helped Cricket Club of Bhawanipore post 267. In reply, Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association were bundled out for 186.
