Ratnakar North Point School face St Johns Public
School in Pink-Ball D/N Mayor’s Cup final at Eden

After a thrilling league and knockout phase, the two best teams from the competition, Ratnakar North Point School and St Johns Public School will face-off in the summit clash of the Mayor’s Cup Inter School tournament at the Eden Gardens starting on Saturday.
To make the final even more entertaining and popular among the young players, the match at the iconic Eden Gardens will be played with Pink ball and under lights. The match will be a two-day affair with 85-overs per side match.
Earlier, in the first semifinal on Tuesday, Ratnakar North Point School outclassed South Point High School by 6 wickets. For Ratnakar North Point School, Hriddhi Nag Chowdhury (78) and Rajbir Das (64) were superb with the bat while Rauvan Hazra (4-57) was impressive with the ball.
In the second semifinal, Piyush Karan (5-46) and Akhilesh Shukla (4-46) were brilliant with the ball as St Johns Public School defeated Nava Nalanda High School by 135 runs. Aman Kharwar (69), Ayush Kr Prasad (64) and Vishal Mandal (61) also impressed with the bat for St Johns Public School.
