Amit slams 115 as E.Rly.Sporting Association
win big in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Amit Kumar scored a fine 115 while Raju Halder (4-69) and Arijit Basu (3-85) were superb with the ball as E.Rly.Sporting Association beat Kidderpore Club by 6 wickets on Day 2 in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day match on Friday. Batting first, Kidderpore Club managed 265. In reply, E.RLY.Sporting Association chased it down, scoring 267/4.
In other matches, Rohit Ram smashed a superb 110 while Pratik Rajan (5-45) was impressive with the ball as Calcutta Port Trust beat Shibpur Institute by 5 wickets. Batting first, Shibpur Institute scored 220. In reply, Calcutta Port Trust chased it down, scoring 222/5.
Akshay Sain (6-89) and Gaurav Jathar (78) helped Aryan Club beat Dalhousie A.C by 7 wickets. Batting first, Dalhousie Club posted 270. In reply, Aryan Club chased it down scoring 273/3.
Nabhanil Saha (5-62) was brilliant with the ball as Kolkata Union Sporting Club beat Shambazar Club by 5 wickets. Batting first, Shambazar Club managed only 170. In reply, Kolkata Union Sporting Club chased it down, scoring 173/5.
Snehashish Saha (83), Chandan Singh (74) and Mohd Asif Mansoori (4-42) helped Belgachia United Club beat Dakshin Kolkata Sansad by 146 runs. Belgachia United Club posted 320/9. In reply, Dakshin Kolkata Sansad were bundled out for 174.
A superb 130 by Akshay Saini was not enough as Rajasthan Club went down to Kumartuli Institute by 9 runs. Harsh Dev Gautam (67) and Sayan Paul (63) helped Kumartuli Institute post 336/9 at stumps. For Rajasthan Club, Vishal Kr Roy bagged 4 for 67. In reply, Rajasthan Club fell short scoring 327. Harsh Dev bagged 4 for 95.
Akhilesh Yadav (5-101) and Vijay Yadav (4-44) helped Sporting Union bowl out United Club for 274. Avijit Mukherjee top-scored with 59 runs. In reply, Sporting Union were 30 for no loss at stumps on Day 1.
