Amjad bags 7 as Ballygunge Sporting Association win
in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Amjad Ali (7-38) was superb with the ball as Ballygunge Sporting Association defeated Bengal Sporting Club by 15 runs in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Wednesday. Ballygunge Sporting Association were bowled out for 148, thanks to Vaibhab Lahiri (4-41). In reply, Bengal Sporting Club bundled out for 133.
In other matches, Debangshu Pakhira smashed a superb 185 while Vishal Bhati bagged 5 for 66 as Salkia Friends Association beat Calcutta Parsse Club by 190 runs. Salkia Friends Association posted 426. Agastya Agarwal bagged 5 for 129. In reply, Calcutta Parsse Club were bundled out for 236.
Sandip Das scored a brilliant 180 while Biswajit Dey bagged 5 for 78 as West Bengal Police Sports Club beat YMCA (Chow) by 80 runs. West Bengal Police Sports Club posted 301. Akash Agrahari (8-132) was superb with the ball. In reply, YMCA (Chow) were bundled out for 221.
Ashish Pathak bagged 5 for 64 followed by smashing a match-winning 94 as Amature C.C beat Sarat Samity by 4 wickets. Rajesh Mondal (102) and Akshu Giri (90) helped Sarat Samity post 348/8. In reply, Amature C.C chased it down scoring 351/6.
Sanjeev Kumar (103) helped Bata Sporting Club beat White Border Club by 107 runs. Bata Sporting Club posted 229. Karan Jay Kumar bagged 5 for 49. In reply, White Border Club were bundled out for 122, thanks to Subham Yadav (3-27).
Kingkar Roy (85), Ijaj Uddin (4-40) and Manish Kumar (4-39) helped Greer Sporting Club beat Vijay Sports Club by 114 runs. Greer Sporting Club posted 302. Arijit Mukherjee and Arsh Yadav bagged four wickets each. In reply, Vijay Sports Club were bundled out for 188.
Pritish Ghosh (79) and Adrivit Das (5-71) helped City A.C beat Howrah Sporting Club by 78 runs. City A.C posted 260. In reply, Howrah Sporting Club were bundled out for 182.
