Shakir Habib slams unbeaten 150 for Town Club against
BNR Recreation Club in First Division League

Shakir Habib Gandhi smashed a superb unbeaten 150 off 207 balls as Town Club reached 364/3 in their first innings at stumps on Day 1 against BNR Recreation Club in the CAB First Division League Group A match on Sunday.
Sandeep Tomar (88 not out) and Ranjot Singh Khaira (53) also impressed with the bat.
Earlier, put into bat, Suprodip Debnath (25) and Ranjot got Town Club off to a good start.
But after the dismissal of Suprodip, Ranjot and Shakir Habib stitched together a 98-run stand for the second wicket to put team in a strong position.
Later on, Ranjot and Sandeep also added another big unbeaten 195-run partnership for the fourth wicket to end the day on a high note.
For BNR Recreation Club, Argha Sengupta (3-53) was the pick of the bowlers.
