Akash slams 135 for Ballygunge United Club in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Akash Verma smashed a superb 135 as Ballygunge United Club posted 463/7 on Day 1 against Wari in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day match on Tuesday.
In other matches, Sanjib Kumar Sharma scored a fine 106 as Ananda Bazar Patrika Sports Club scored 438/8 at stumps against Monohar Pukur Milan Samity.
Wahid Mahfooz (89) was impressive with the bat as Police AC managed to post 223. Yudhajit Guha (3-51) was superb with the ball. In reply, Calcutta Police Club were 139/1 at stumps, thanks to Rohit Prodhan (50 not out).
Vijay Yadav (91) helped Sporting Union post 264 at stumps. For YMCA (Coll Br), Rajwinder Singh (4-107) was impressive with the ball.
Anshuman Pandey (4-26) was superb with the ball as Bhukailash Sporting Club bundled out United Club for 191. In reply, Bhukailash Sporting Club were struggling at 106/7 at stumps. Priyanshu Gautam and Rishabh Chaudhary bagged three wickets each.
Anik Nandi (4-20) and Rahul Prasad (4-7) helped Tollygunge Agragami beat Indian Boys Athletic Club by 8 wickets.
