Bengal U-19 reach 162/7 against Punjab in Cooch Behar Trophy pre-quarterfinals

Chandrahas Dash scored a fighting unbeaten 64 as Bengal Under-19 team managed to reach 162/7 in their first innings at stumps on Day 2 against Punjab in the pre-quarterfinals of the Cooch Behar Trophy in Patiala on Saturday.
Earlier, Priyanshu Patel (5-124) was impressive with the ball as Bengal bowled out Punjab for 334 in their first innings. Skipper Krish Bhagat scored a fine 91 for Punjab.
For Bengal, besides Priyanshu, Yudhajit Guha (2-50), Rahul Prasad (1-94) and Ayan Ghosh (1-49) were the pick of the bowlers.
At the end of the second day, Chandrahas and Rahul (18) remained unbeaten at the crease for Bengal. For Punjab, Krish, Shubham Rana and Anmoljeet bagged two wickets each.
