Vishal slams 224 for Salkia Friends Association
in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Vishal Bhati smashed a superb 224 off 189 balls along with Swarnendu Samanta (122) as Salkia Friends Association posted 405 against Jorabagan Club in the CAB Second Division Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Friday. Sk Siddik (8-128) was impressive with the ball. In reply, Jorabagan Club were 23 for no loss at stumps on Day 1.
In other matches, Akash Mondal (5-57) helped Vijay Sports Club bundle out Ballygunge Sporting Association for 145. In reply, Vijay Sports Club were 86/6 at stumps. Amjad Ali bagged four wickets.
Pabitra Seth scored a fine 141 as Bengal Sporting Club managed to post 365/9. Kaushik Deb (5-92) was impressive with the ball. In reply, YMCA (Chow) were 7 for no loss at stumps.
Subhadip Chatterjee (98) and Arghyaa Ghosh (78) helped Mouri Sporting Club post 318 at stumps. Ankit Burnwal (6-46) impressed with the ball for Abasar.
Kunal Bose (4-31) and Sandip Das (65) helped West Bengal Police Sports Club beat Suburban Club by 10 wickets.
Dipam Ghosh (7-40) helped International Club beat Central Calcutta Sporting by 6 wickets.
Baidurya Dey (4-53), Subham Chanda (4-48) and Sukriti Jana (58) helped Howrah Sporting Club beat Baranagar Sporting Club by 8 wickets.
Rohan Rathi (83) and Sumit Pandit (7-26) helped Sahapur Sporting Club beat W.B Association of the Deaf by 6 wickets.
