Suraj bags 11 in match as Calcutta Custom Club take 1st
innings lead after draw vs Bhawanipore in First Division League

Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal (7-47 & 4-34) was impressive with the ball, bagging 11 wickets in the match as Calcutta Custom Club took first innings lead after their CAB First Division League Group A match against Bhawanipore Club ended in a draw on Wednesday.
Earlier, after posting 208 in their first innings, Calcutta Custom Club bundled out Bhawanipore for just 158 to take a crucial first innings lead.
Calcutta Custom, in their second innings, were bowled out for 187, thanks to Alok Pratap Singh (6-41). While, Bhawanipore, in their second innings, were reduced to 72/6 at stumps on the third and final day.
In the day’s second match, Paikpara Sporting Club took first innings lead after their match against BNR Recreation Club ended in a draw.
Earlier, Paikpara Sporting Club posted 265 in their first innings. In reply, BNR Recreation Club managed only 181, to hand Paikpara the first innings lead. Vishwajeet Mishra (4-52) was impressive with the ball.
Paikpara, in their second innings, were 155/2 at stumps on the final day. Agniv Mukhopadhyay scored a fine unbeaten 65.
