Aamir Hussain (8-46) was superb with the ball as Victoria Sporting Club defeated Calcutta University Institute by 6 wickets in the CAB Second Division League Two-Day meet on Tuesday. Md Imtiaz Al scored a fine 73.
In other matches, Ravi Kumar (125) and Showmajit Khaskel (101 not out) helped Albert Sporting Club post 360 in 84.3 overs at stumps. Souvik Chatterjee bagged three wickets for Balak Sangha.
Donil Dutta (3-11) and Arun Mallick (3-40) helped George Telegraph beat South Suburban Club by 9 wickets.
Priyankar Mukherjee (90, 1-26) and Amit Banerjee (5-62) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat Measurers Club by 8 wickets.
Ajit Kumar Rajak (7-24) helped Taltala Institute beat High Court Club by 9 wickets.
Abhijeet Prasad (7-51) and Samar Roy (73) helped Aurora Athletic Association beat Excelsiors Club by 7 wickets.
Sourav Dawn (4-7) and Ritesh Yadav (4-19) helped Burnpur Cricket Club beat Friends Athletic Club by 7 wickets.
Behala Friends Union posted 307, thanks to Sandipan Dey (86).In reply, Mohun Lal Club were 26/4 at stumps on Day 1. Pradunya Sarkar bagged three wickets.
Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association posted 272, thanks to Shantanu Chowdhury (58). Shashi Shankar Singh bagged four wickets. In reply, Gymkhana were 64/3 at stumps.
