Bengal U-19 in pre-quarterfinals after thrilling
draw against Gujarat in Cooch Behar Trophy

Bengal Under-19 team held their nerves till the end, to draw a nail-biting encounter against Gujarat on the fourth and final day and make the pre-quarterfinals of the Cooch Behar Trophy on virtue of first innings lead.
Chasing 290 to win on the final day, Bengal in their second innings, were 271/9 at stumps at the BCA Ground in Kalyani on Monday.
For Bengal, Chandrahas Dash top-scored with 42 runs while Khalin A Patel bagged three wickets for Gujarat.
Earlier, after bowling out Gujarat for 148 in their first innings, Bengal managed to post 224 to grab a crucial first innings lead. Gujarat, in their second innings, managed to post 365/7 decl.
