Aniket slams unbeaten 105 as Bengal U-19 extend
lead vs Jharkhand in Cooch Behar Trophy

Aniket Biswas continued his fine form by smashing a superb unbeaten 105 as Bengal Under-19 team gained a vital 156-run lead in their second innings at stumps on Day 3 against Jharkhand in the Cooch Behar Trophy match in Ranchi on Sunday.
Resuming the day from overnight score of Bengal 13 for no loss, openers Salman Ahmed (48) and Jahir Ahammed (43) gave Bengal a solid start.
After their dismissal, Aniket, who scored a fighting 90 in the first innings, backed it up with another fine knock. In his 190-ball innings, Aniket smashed 13 boundaries. He was well supported by Chandrahas Dash (36) as Bengal were 270/5 in their second innings at the end of third day.
Tanish bagged two wickets for Jharkhand.
Earlier, Bengal, in their first innings, managed to post 162. In reply, Jharkhand went past the total scoring 276 to take a vital first innings lead.
