Bowlers impress as Bengal U-16 take 1st innings
lead after draw vs MP in Vijay Merchant Trophy

Dhanvin Nimavat (4-85) and Avradip Biswas (3-95) were impressive with the ball as Bengal Under-16 team took first innings lead after their Vijay Merchant Trophy match against Madhya Pradesh in Surat ended in a draw on Friday.
After posting 320 in their first innings, Bengal bowled out Madhya Pradesh for 311, thus gaining a crucial first innings lead.
For MP, openers Yashbardhan Singh (110) and Aryan Kushwah (127) were superb with the bat but the middle order failed immensely as the team fell short of Bengal's first innings total.
Besides, Dhanvin and Avradip, Shivam Bharati (2-56) and Anirban Sarma (1-36) delivered with the ball for Bengal.
At stumps on the third and final day, Bengal, in their second innings, were 35 for no loss.
