East Bengal storm into semi final of First Division Tournament

Beating Aryan Club by 243 runs today here in Maidan, East Bengal made their way to the Semi finals of the First Division Championship Play-off. Chasing East Bengal’s 401 for 7 in 76 overs, Aryan Club were bundled at 158 within 37.1 overs.
In the N.C. Chatterjee T-20 Tournament, Supriya Shil's unbeaten 144 off 52 balls helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat Monohar Pukur Milan Samity by 7 wickets.
In other matches played, while, Greer Sporting Club beat Amateur Cricket Club by 6 wickets, Bengal Sporting Club beat Cricket Club of Bhawanipore by 7 wickets.
Also, Indian Boys Athletic Club beat Balak Sangha by 72 runs.
Among the batsmen, Prasenjit Jati (78*), Ramrit Bhattacharya (65*), Avijit Dutta (56) and Rakesh Yadav (63) contributed to their respective sides.
In the bowling department, Manibhushan Singh and Anand Kumar Singh took 3 wickets each.
