Rahul craft win for Pune

Riding Rahul Tripathi’s 93 off 52 balls, Rising Pune Supergiant beat Kolkata Knight Riders by four wickets in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 match at Eden Gardens in Kolkata today.
Put to bat, Gautam Gambhir’s KKR lost wickets regularly, reducing to 55 for 4 in 9.4 overs, but contributions from Manish Pandey (37), Colin de Grandhomme (36) and Suryakumar Yadav (30*) ensured they reach a modest total of 155 for 8 playing full quota.
Thereafter, Coming out to bat, Pune started losing wickets at one end, but on the other stood Rahul Tripathi, smashing 93 off 52 balls ensure Pune’s victory in the end. When he got out in 18.4 overs, the visitors were 150 for 6, needing six more runs with with more than an over left. Dan Christian hit the winning runs with a six off Colin De Grandhomme in the last over.
Winning this match,  Supergiants are now third on the IPL table with 14 points from 11 matches. On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders are still second with 14 from 11 matches due to a better net run rate.
