7th June 2023

P Sen Trophy was discontinued for scheduling problems in 2016-17. After that the tournament could not be held due to the Covid.
CAB President Snehasish Ganguly took the initiative to revive the trophy once again. The meet will be played by 10 teams in knock out format.
"It is a prestigious and old tournament, where in recent past Indian greats have taken part. It was important to restart the meet. The final would be a day-night affair at Eden Gardens," Mr Snehasish Ganguly said.
P Sen Trophy is a tournament christened after the Late Prabir Sen an illustrious cricketer who played for Bengal.
