Kalyani University & Jadavpur University win in Inter University T20 Meet

Jadavpur University and Kalyani University registered comfortable victories in their respective matches in the CAB Inter University T20 league cum knockout tournament on Tuesday.
In the first match, Jadavpur University beat Calcutta University by 14 runs in a rain-hit clash. Batting first, Jadavpur University managed to score 55/4 in 6 overs. Toufik bagged three wickets. In reply, Calcutta University fell short of the target, managing 41/4 in 6 overs.
In the second match, Kalyani University beat Visva Bharati by 67 runs on virtue of higher run rate in another rain-hit clash. Batting first, Kalyani University posted 153/7 in 19 overs. In reply, Visva Bharati were 65/3 in 12.1 overs. Deep Biswas bagged three wickets.
Unfortunately, the third match between Rabindra Bharati University and Technological Students Gymkhana was abandoned due to wet pitch condition caused by overnight rain.
