in 1st Div two-day meet Qualifier 1

Abhijit Mal smashed a brilliant unbeaten 176 along with Ankit Shukla (134) as Rajasthan Club managed to post 360/3 at stumps on Day 1 against YMCA (College Brunch) in the Qualifier 1 of the CAB 1st Division Group B & C two-day league cum knockout tournament on Thursday.
In other matches, Tanujit Acharjee scored a fine 143 to help Sporting Union post 290 at stumps against Ballygunge United Club. Md Tarique Anwar bagged three wickets.
Anuj Kumar Singh (103), Badal Singh Balyan (76) and Jayanta Chauhary (52) helped Aryan Club post 298. Tushar Mondal bagged four wickets. In reply, Wari Athletic Club were 88 for no loss at stumps, thanks to Aniket Biswas (53 not out).
Avijit Mukherjee (109 not out), Divesh Singh (84) and Arun Bhardwaj (67) helped United Club post 388/5 at stumps against Kumartuli Institute.
