East Bengal rode on Prosenjit Das, Ankur Pal and Subhankar Bal half-centuries to thrash Bhukailash Sporting Club by 132 runs in JC Mukherjee Memorial trophy today.
East Bengal piled up a mammoth 215/2 Batting first and bowlers Shreyan Chakraborty and Subham Ghosh picked up 3 wickets each to restrict opponents to 83/9.
In other matches Gaurav Chauhan starred with unbeaten 50 to help Tapan Memorial beat George Telegraph, Calcutta Police won against Kolkata Union Sporting thanks to Nishanth Yadav (72*) and Saurabh Kumar (4-19) and Shambazar clinched a 11-run win against Monoharpukur Milan Samity.
