Bagan take 10 points

Mohun Bagan in a dominating display thrashed George Telegraph by one innings and 12 runs to take 10 points from CAB first division league today while Paikpara, Police AC got 7 points each from their respective matches which resulted in draw.
Sayan Ghosh bagged 4 wickets to restrict George to 151/9 in the second innings. Aryan batter Ashray Jha's fighting 126 not out went in vain as Shiva Singh starred with a five-wicket haul for Paikpara.
In group B&C matches Kalighat posted 414 against YMCA (Coll Br) thanks to Writam Porel century; Taha Ali (126) and Rishab Agarwal (108) tons helped Ballygunge United bury IABC under pile of runs with 441 runs.
In another match United Club Parth Palawat (124), Rishav Chowdhury (101) starred with the bat to post 452/8.
In second division league Umesh Yadav picked up 5 wickets to help National Athletic to 8-wicket victory while White Border, Ballygunge Sporting were also victorious.
Gymkhana rode on Victor Upadhaya, Atandra Das tons to post 400-plus; Subhdeep Das Mahapatra hit ton for Satya Sandhi and Animesh Adhikari registered 5-wicket haul for Narkeldanga Sir Gooroodas Institute.
