CAB welcomes Under 19 heroes

Leading to victory of the U 19 Bengal team in the Cooch Behar Trophy, Cricket Association of Bengal invited the Victorious team members for hi-tea at the B.C.Roy Club House, Eden Gardens today, where they raised the association's flag in presence of all office bearers.
CAB president Sourav Ganguly met all the boys and congratulated them for the achievement.
"They have played really well. But their real challenge begins now. The vision 2020 camp sees to have started working. I expect they will be well in future," Ganguly said.
Bengal’s hero of the final, saurabh Singh said, “It was an effort put together and the process was continuous. But it's just the beginning of something and we still have a lot more to achieve.”
The batsman also thanked coach Pranab Nandi, who remained absent on the occasion for guiding him with the batting tips and advised how to remain motivated in the game.
Pacer Kanishk Seth who played a match winning innings in the final along with Saurabh said, “I knew Saurabh was batting well on the other hand. I only need to play a supportive innings with him. It was also a batting wicket and gradually the runs began to flow.
About his injury and how he motivated himself, he said, “ Sir (Coach T.A.Sekhar) worked closely with me at the NCA. He even worked on my technique making few changes in my bowling action. He always used to tell me to be patient and wait for my chance, but at the same time be prepared for the occasion.”
