KKR look to arrest slide

18th April 2019
Kolkata Knight Riders will be desperate to end three-match losing streak against Royal Challengers Bangalore who on the other hand will fight for pride in an Indian Premier League match tomorrow at Eden Gardens.
Kolkata who have slipped to sixth position after a good start to the season have another big problem and that is Andre Russell's injury scare.
Russell was hit by a bouncer on his left shoulder the same way he got hit by a Harshal Patel bouncer earlier this season, but this time during net session.
Whether the Jamaican plays or not, that will have a big impact for the hosts as they aim for a top four finsih.
Virat Kolhi's team on the other hand have lost seven out of total 8 matches which has virtually pushed them out of the top-four race but they have roped in veteran South African pacer Dale Steyn which proves their hunger to win the games left.
Kolkata's main concern will be their middle order which has let them down in important matches.
Along with that KKR will hope their skipper Dinesh Karthik to end his rough patch with the bat and the spinners to have more impact.
